The Worldwide Lutheran Federation
The Worldwide Lutheran Federation is a communion of Lutheran Churches founded in 1947 at Lund in Sweden. Certain of "salvation by grace", the Lutheran Church affirms the free gift of God's love for all people.
Standing on the foundation of the unique authority of the Bible, Christians cannot work to earn their salvation; by faith they freely respond to the call of the one Lord Jesus Christ, who died and was resurrected for them.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of France is in communion with world-wide Christianity through the faith declared in the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed. Protestant and Ecumenical, it is a member of the World Council of Churches.
